In January 2012 DARK AGES were at work to record the second part of the rock opera, so "Teumman - Part Two" was released at the end of 2013. The response has been very good, especially with progheads, and new fans were added to the old ones. The players turn-over prevented the unit from releasing original material, until in 2008 a stable line-up allowed to write and complete the first part of a rock opera called "Teumman", released in 2011. Then came a hiatus, and later in 1996 the band was reborn with a new line-up, and had a heavy live routine in the following years. After some year of tuning up, the band released the first album "Saturnalia" in 1991.
DARK AGES were founded in 1982 by Simone CALCIOLARI which is the only remaining member from the original line-up.
